The England defender / defensive midfielder is wanted by Jose Mourinho who sees Dier as the perfect player to to build his new Manchester United team.  The Portuguese manager is convinced he can secure the player with a bid of £40m and a promise to triple the players wages at Old Trafford.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy however in an interview recently made it clear that no player would be sold unless Pochettino wished them to leave, stating all players are under contract …”which they were happy to sign at the time…” and therefore would be expected to honour those agreements.

Regardless of the players being under contract, publicly saying how they are happy at the club and the chairman making it clear no sales – speculation is set to run on and on this summer.
