Tottenham contract rebel Christian Eriksen is to be offered one final deal by the Tottenham hierarchy in a bid to keep him at the club. Daniel Levy has a good relationship with the Dane and his representatives despite no new deal being signed and believes he has found a compromise that will work for all parties.
The offer on the table for the play maker will move him in line with Harry Kane as one of the highest earners at the club but will also include a release clause for an offer from a non English club in the summer transfer window next season.
The only potential stumbling block that leaves is the duration of any new contract for Eriksen and the amount of the clause. The player himself knows that if he does nothing he can leave for free next summer and cash in.
