Yesterday we reported that Tottenham were interested in Jeremy Toljan from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim. Today, further reports believe that a bargain fee has been agreed between the sides.
In our article yesterday we alluded to the fact Toljan could come cheap due to his contract running out – with just a year left. The London Evening Standard (amongst others) believe this to be the case, with the Germany U21 international now believed to be heading to North London for just £3.1m!
In this summers crazy market £3.1m is nothing and for a player of Toljan’s potential and excitement in Germany represents a real steal. Fingers crossed this will be the first signing of the summer.
