Gareth Bale is set to make his second Tottenham debut in a London derby this weekend when West Ham visit White Hart Lane.
Bale has been training at Tottenham’s base in Enfield and The Telegraph say he will be fit for the West Ham clash.
The 31-year-old left Tottenham to join Real Madrid in 2013 for a then world record £85million fee.
He went on to win four European Cups and two LaLiga titles, before falling out of favour with Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane.
Now he’s return to north London, Bale could become part of a fearsome front three consisting of himself, Heung-min Son and Harry Kane.
Son and Kane ran riot at Old Trafford, both scoring twice, as Spurs showcased their best attacking football since Jose Mourinho’s arrival last November.
Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has tipped Spurs to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
He told talkSPORT: “Spurs have a great chance of winning the title.
“They’ve bought very well, I think they’ve got a great coach and we’ll see.”
If Bale does play against West Ham on Sunday, his second debut for Tottenham will come 13 years and two months after his first ever appearance for the north Londoners.
The Welshman made his first debut for Spurs in a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United on August 26, 2007, before famously going on to make a further 23 appearances before finally picking up his first Premier League win as a Tottenham player more than TWO years later!
