Dele Alli during a recent interview has said he believes when Spurs hit top form they are the best side in the league.
Speaking to FourFourTwo magazine Dele said; “When we are on form and playing well, I don’t think there’s anyone in the Premier League that can beat us.”
“There are no boundaries; there’s nothing we can’t do if we play as well as we know we can. It’s important that we are ambitious. We know where we should be, and we know what we can do as a team.”
Dele also spoke of the whole squads frustration at exiting Europe so early and generally not playing well in any of the games.
“Obviously everyone wants to be (in the Champions League). There’s tough competition in the Prem but we fancy ourselves against anyone, so it’ll be disappointing if we don’t get back in there.” Alli added.
“We want to be up there with the best teams in the world, but to do that we have to be in the Champions League, playing against them.”
Spurs face Everton this Sunday and will be battling for every point as this season shapes up to be the toughest fight for Champions League places in some time.
