Dele to PSG?

Paris Saint-Germain are targeting Dele Alli in a £50million summer swoop.

The French giants are keeping close tabs on Tottenham and England midfielder Alli and believe they have got a chance of luring him away from White Hart Lane.

European champions Real Madrid also have a long-standing interest in the 20-year-old and continue to watch developments, but PSG really fancy Alli.

They watched him extensively at the end of last season, when his brilliant form after a summer move from League One side MK Dons rocketed him into the Three Lions squad for Euro 2016.

Ligue 1 giants PSG have also scouted him this season as they look to bolster their standing as a major European force, and regard him as having a special talent.

The big-spending French club are desperate to become genuine contenders to win the Champions League after dominating domestically in recent years, and have serious financial backing.

Alli signed a new deal earlier this season for £60,000-a-week, and PSG would be able to comfortably improve that contract and hope the chance of playing abroad appeals.

He has been an incredible success for Tottenham since they signed him for just £5m in February 2015, quickly becoming a mainstay in the first team, an England regular and one of the best prospects in the country.

It would represent a huge profit if they did cash in, but Spurs will surely be determined to keep one of their biggest stars — especially as they look to build their future team around their clutch of young players.
