Eriksen: ‘Hard to say no to Barcelona’

Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen admits ‘it would be hard to turn down Barcelona’ as the Danish midielder is linked with a move to the Nou Camp.

Eriksen, who has three years left on his current deal with the Premier League runner-ups admitted he wanted to be at the very top within three years.

He said: “Barcelona are a great club and I do not think there are many who say no to Barcelona.”

“In the future I see myself at the highest level. That is what I dream about.

“It can be in about two to three years. It may be in another club or it could be Tottenham if we have come all the way up.”

Eriksen was voted Tottenham’s Player of the Year by supporters after finishing the season with 12 goals and more than 20 assists.

The Denmark international has made 179 appearances for Spurs and scored 42 goals.
