Fulham Youngster, 16, linked to Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to bid £3 million for Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon.

Sessegnon, 16, made his first professional appearance for Fulham in the EFL Cup last week against Leyton Orient and is tipped as having a very bright future in the game.  The defender plays at left-back, and already had Premier League sides interested in him last season.

It is believed that Arsenal and Liverpool have been looking at Sessegnon for some months, but Tottenham are ready to bid very soon.  Spurs are also understood to be willing to offer a player on loan to Fulham to tempt the club even more.

Sessegnon is unlikely to be part of the first-team plans at Fulham this season despite his appearance, so Fulham may sell the player if they get a first-team quality player on loan.

The defender, whilst still eligible for the England Under-16 team, played for the Under-17s at the Euros this summer.  Sessegnon has made eight international appearances altogether, scoring three goals.

At 16 years old, Sessegnon will not likely be a part of plans at Tottenham for a while if he joins the club.  However Spurs have brought through several young players recently so the London club could be the perfect place for the left-back to continue his football education.
