Hoddle – Spurs players no longer trying

Former Spurs manager and playing legend Glenn Hoddle has told BT Sport he believes that all the new contracts that were signed have led to players not trying as hard.

He said; “…..since they’ve signed them they’ve put their foot off the pedal. I think it’s something to do with it.”

Eric Dier seems to be a shadow of the player of last season with only an injury to Toby Alderweireld giving him a place in the first eleven.

Christian Eriksen has also been widely critiscised by fans for a series of poor displays.

With Arsenal this Sunday many believe Spurs manager Pochettino is under the most pressure he has ever been under during his tenure at Spurs manager.
