Janssen suffers injury on international duty

Vincent Janssen has suffered concussion on international duty with Holland.

The striker challenged with Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and sustained a elbow to the head as a result. Although Janssen tried to carry on, he was clearly dazed and asked to be taken off – pointing at his head.

Following the Dutch 1-1 draw with Belgium, manager Danny Blind said that the injury was “not good” for his team. If the injury is concussion, Janssen will be returning to Tottenham early.
