Alfie Dorrington (Defender) – on loan at Aberdeen
Game: Home to Livingston (0-0)
Minutes Played: 90
Blocks/Clearances/Interceptions: 13
Duels Won: 4/5 (80%)
Personal Opinion: Dorrington showed a solid defensive performance, whilst also creating the most amount of chances in the game (2).
Mikey Moore (Winger) – on loan at Rangers
Game: Home to Hearts (Lost 2-0)
Minutes Played: 45 (subbed off at half time)
Chances Created/Shots: 0
Successful Dribbles: 0/2
Successful Crosses: 0/3
Personal Opinion: It wasn’t a great game for Moore, or for Rangers. He is still very young, and hopefully being subbed off at half time hasn’t had too much of a negative impact on him. So far he has featured 5 times, with 1 assist. I still think this will become a very successful loan.
Tyrese Hall (Midfielder) – on loan at Notts County
Game: Away to Gillingham (Lost 1-0)
Minutes Played: 31
Tackles Won: 2/2 (100%)
Duels Won: 4/5 (80%)
Personal Opinion: Brought on whilst losing 1-0, Hall showed a good defensive ability in this game. Unfortunately, he still does not appear to be getting many minutes for Notts County, but hopefully with his cameo in this game, he has shown he can be a asset to this team.
George Abbott (Midfielder) – on loan at Wycombe Wanderers
Game: Away to Peterborough (Lost 2-1)
Minutes Played: 67
Pass Accuracy: 22/25 (88%)
Interceptions/Recoveries: 6
Duels Won: 4/5 (80%)
Personal Opinion: Whilst featuring in 7 games, starting in 5, Abbott is turning in consistent performances for an under-performing Wycombe. He still has plenty of room for improvement, but seems to be getting some good amount of minutes on the pitch.
Will Lankshear (Striker) – on loan at Oxford United
Game: Home to Leicester (2-2)
Minutes Played: 89
Goals / Assists: 1 goal in 9th minute
Shot Accuracy: 1/3 (33%)
Personal Opinion: Lankshear continues with a great start to his loan, now with 3 goals in 5 matches, and creating the most chances in the game against Leicester.
Damola Ajayi (Winger) – on loan at Doncaster Rovers
Game: Away to Wigan (Lost 3-0)
Minutes Played: Unused Substitute
Personal Opinion: Ajayi is yet to start in League One and is not getting many minutes. Not too sure how he gets into the team, when being an unused substitute for the second time this season.
Jamie Donley (Midfielder) – on loan at Stoke City
Game: Home to Birmingham (Won 1-0)
Minutes Played: Unused Substitute
Personal Opinion: Really disappointed in the lack of minutes Donley is getting. I thought this was a really good loan for us, but now he has only played 40 minutes in 5 Championship games.
Ashley Phillips (Defender) – on loan at Stoke City
Game: Home to Birmingham (Won 1-0)
Minutes Played: Unused Substitute
Personal Opinion: Similar to Donley, Phillips has only played 60 minutes in 5 Championship games. Not sure what he is doing wrong, as last season he was phenomenal in the Championship.
Alejo Veliz (Striker) – on loan at Rosario Central
Game: Home to Boca Juniors (1-1)
Minutes Played: 42 (due to being injured)
Personal Opinion: Barely featured in the game, and was unfortunate to come off in the first half due to an injury. Prior to this injury, Veliz has started in all 8 games, scoring 1 goal.
Min-Hyeok Yang (Winger) – on loan at Portsmouth
Game: Away to Southampton (Won 1-0)
Minutes Played: Unused Substitute
Personal Opinion: This loan has so far been extremely underwhelming. Yang has been an unused substitute for the last 4 Championship games, with his only Championship appearance being for 23 minutes. If this continues, surely we must look to end his loan in January.
Alfie Devine (Midfielder) – on loan at Preston North End
Game: Home to Middlesborough (2-2)
Minutes Played: 62
Pass Accuracy: 11/14 (79%)
Personal Opinion: With 27 touches, 11 successful passes, 2 tackles won, and 3 ground duels won, I think its fair to say Devine got stuck into this game. He seems to be getting a good amount of game time, and has already scored a goal for Preston North End.
Luka Vuskovic (Defender) – on loan at Hamburger SV
Game: Away to Bayern Munich (Lost 5-0)
Minutes Played: 90
Pass Accuracy: 30/35 (86%)
Defensive Contributions: 8
Defensive Clearances: 17
Personal Opinion: For a player who’s team just lost 5-0, Vuskovic actually put in a really good performance. His defensive work rate was brilliant, and I am sure he will do very well in the Bundesliga.
Manor Solomon (Winger) – on loan at Villareal
Game: Away to Atletico Madrid (Lost 2-0)
Minutes Played: Unused Substitute
Personal Opinion: Not much of a surprise that he doesn’t feature in his first game on loan. Hopefully as the season progresses, he gets some minutes under his belt.
Mason Melia (Striker) – Joining Tottenham at 18 from St Patricks Athletic
No Game
