Mourinho hails club’s current transfer business

Jose Mourinho has hailed the transfer business done by the club so far as ‘amazing’.

Speaking following Tottenham’s first pre season game yesterday, a 3-0 win over Ipswich, Jose was asked about the two players making their debuts.

“The club have worked very intelligently. With Pierre he was in the last year of his contract and the negotiations were tough but he (Daniel Levy) did a great deal for us.”

Speaking of the addition of Joe Hart Mourinho said: “To bring in Joe, 75 England caps, wealth of experience means we have three good goalkeepers. I can sleep easy, not worry about injuries as I have these three very good options.”

“With some of the crazy fixtures we will have playing League cup same week as Europa League and Premier League; not even goalkeepers can play every game so this is very very good business.”

Mourinho would not be pressed on more incomings simply stating he trusted the club to get what was needed done.
