Following the closure of the Winter transfer window Spurs now have several players out on loan at a variety of clubs and so here is a breakdown of who is out in search of first team football and where.
Shayon Harrison.
The academy striker has joined Southend United in League One to try and help them avoid relegation. Shay will be with them until the end of the season.
Marcus Edwards
Probably the name most fans will know from our academy due to his fantastic talent however despite that he has been unable to break into the first team and following a week training with Norwich his new manager may have highlighted why. Speaking to the press about the youngster he said:
“There is no pressure on this signing. If it works, we can have some fun with him. If not, it is more a problem for Marcus, there is no doubt with the ball he is one of our best players. But without it, he has to grow up a bit.”
Georges-Kevin N’Koudou
Sadly it has never really worked out for N’Koudou at Spurs since arriving. Much like N’jie before him he was a ‘shot in the dark’ hoping to unearth a talent but be it through struggle with the language barrier or just the pace of the Premier League he has not merited any starts for us.
He joined Burnley on loan and will hopefully get minutes and *fingers crossed* a run of games in the Premier League to hopefully show what he can do.
Anton Walkes
Walkes, 20, had not long returned from a loan to MLS side Atlanta United however is straight back out the door so to speak joining Portsmouth in League One.
Luke Amos
Luke has jumped at the chance for first team football and joined Stevenage in League Two on loan until the end of the season.
These player join the already on loan Vincent Janssen, Josh Onomah, Connor Ogilvie and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
