Raul trains with Tottenham

Former Spain and Real Madrid striker Raul trained with Tottenham on Thursday as he works towards his professional coaching badges.

Raul was in Enfield as part of a course to obtain his qualifications before he takes charge of Real Madrid’s Juvenil B team next season.

He is learning his badges alongside former team-mates Xavi Hernandez, Xabi Alonso, Victor Valdes, Albert Riera and Marcos Senna.

The Spaniard scored over 400 goals for club and country during a 21-year career with Real, Schalke, Qatari side Al-Sadd and New York Cosmos.

He won 11 trophies in 16 years at club level in Spain and is now focusing on a new chapter in his career.

Tottenham are preparing to face bottom club West Brom in the Premier League this weekend as they aim to seal Champions League football for next season.
