Spurs starlet Ryan Sessegnon has revealed that Spurs boss Mourinho is confident that his side can challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Mourinho took over from previous coach Mauricio Pochettino back in November and has been tasked with bringing silverware back to north London.
Under Pochettino they came close to glory, finishing second in the league in 2017 and reaching last season’s Champions League final, but they were unable to get over the line.
In Mourinho they have a serial winner and Sessegnon has been impressed by the Portuguese tactician’s start to life at the club.
Sessegnon said: “As a young player, it’s a manager that you want to work with because they know so much about the game and to help you improve you as a player, so it’s a no brainer.
“The gaffer wants to push on next year, I can’t see why we won’t be pushing for the top 2 or 3.
“We’ve got a very strong squad, if we can keep everyone like the key players, its a strong squad. If we can add some bits to it we can go all the way and I know the gaffer is looking to win title.”
