Son set to return to Germany?

Wolfsburg have submitted a bid of €30m (£25.6m) for Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min which is believed to be the figure quoted to them by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy for the Korean forward.

Son, 24, has only just returned from the Olympics however is thought to be keen on leaving London in favour of a return to Germany despite offers from Everton and Leicester City.

The South Korean international ended his first season as a Tottenham player with a decent record of eight goals and five assists, but he was largely used as a substitute behind Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen for much of the campaign.
