Spurs already issue stadium bans for persistent standing

Spurs finally opened their new stadium recently with a 2-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace being the curtain raiser and fans loved very minute of being in their new home however following the game one or two people did voice concerns that in the south stand, which is designed to be a “wall of noise” people were standing from start to finish and blocking the view of others.

The club responded ahead of the Champions League quarter final by reminding fans that under current rules in this country stadiums, just like White Hart Lane was, are all seated and therefore persistent standing is not allowed.

Sadly this warning fell on deaf ears and those who ignored it have now been banned for the upcoming game against Huddersfield, something which was standard policy at the Lane and across all Premier League grounds.
