Tottenham are in negotiations to sign 27yr old Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
Although Raya was born and grew up in Spain he actually moved to Blackburn from Cornellà on a scholarship back in July 2012 at the age of 17, before signing a professional contract in 2014 meaning under Premier League rules he would be classed as a home grown player.
For those unaware Premier League rules state that no club in England’s top-flight can have more than 17 non-homegrown players in their squads.
