According to the Mirror, Tottenham have re-ignited their interest in Lazio forward Keits Balde Diao.
The Senegalese international was a reported target at the end of last season after a fine run of form saw him score 8 goals in 6 games in Serie A. The powerful forward scored a total of 16 goals in all competitions last season and is keen to move on from Lazio.
The 22 year old would add much needed pace and competition to the forwards and his versatility means he can play as a striker if needed. No figure has been mentioned but Balde could come at a reasonable price – it’s understood he has a year left on his contract and has no intention to sign another.
Spurs would have to compete with Juventus to sign him though with bookies placing both as favourites.
