Tottenham are in talks over a big money deal over naming rights with taxi firm Uber.
Uber are quickly becoming a huge company with over 30,000 people downloading the taxi app every month in London alone. As part of their marketing plans, Uber want to stamp their name on one of the best stadiums in the country – White Hart Lane.
Tottenham need to find funds for the new ground and are looking at sponsors for the stadium. A recent report in The Times stated more than 300 companies that had approached the club about sponsorship.
With so many companies interested in sponsorship Tottenham will likely bag some serious money from the deal. Talks with Uber are on-going with a reported fee of £20m-a-year.
