Kyle Walker is rumoured to be leaving and that has lead to speculation that Tottenham are lining up replacement options.
Last week it was reported that former Spurs fullback, Adam Smith, is considered an option. Yesterday, rumours started that we are interested in Brazilian Dani Alves – widely regarded as the best right back in the past decade.
Alves has won the UEFA Cup twice, the Champions League three times, 6 La Liga titles and 5 Copas del Rey. He is also on the verge of winning the treble at Juventus in his first season in Italy.
The report, emerging from Yahoo, believes that both Tottenham and Manchester City are interested in the right back. Whilst very unlikely, a move for the proven defender would add a winning mentality and leadership for big game matches.
