Match Preview: Leicester Vs Spurs

TEAM NEWS

Leicester City central defenders Wes Morgan and Robert Huth will again miss out on Thursday because of respective hamstring and foot injuries.

Andy King is absent with a hamstring complaint and Danny Drinkwater and Nampalys Mendy remain unavailable.

Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier is sidelined with concussion and fellow right-back Kyle Walker misses out with an ankle problem.

Mousa Dembele may be rested and Danny Rose has undergone knee surgery.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare: “The players can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

“I’ve said before about their attitude and professionalism and I expect us to have a real good go to finish as high as we can.

“Defensively, Spurs are similar to Manchester City. They have progressed and are very good on and off the ball.”

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino: “I will stay here next season. Many, many rumours but I have a commitment with Tottenham and no reason to leave the club.

“All the players that we want to stay here next season will stay and maybe some of the players we have offers for and we decide to sell.

“Next season will be completely different. All our enemies and opponents will try to improve their squad.”
