Dembele rejects Inter Milan

Wantaway Tottenham star Mousa Dembele has rejected the chance to join Inter Milan.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to the San Siro all summer as his contract with Spurs runs out next year.

Inter were on the midfielder’s trail for several weeks but it seems the 31-year-old will not be moving to the Italian club as he seeks the final bib-club transfer of his career.

Chinese club Beijing Guoan made an approach for Dembele earlier this summer, but the former Fulham player decided it is too soon to move to the Far East.

Dembele featured at the World Cup finals for the Red Devils, including in both of their wins over England as Belgium achieved a best-ever third.

Since he moved to Spurs from Craven Cottage in 2012, Dembele has played 232 games for the north London club – scoring ten goals.
