Spurs prepare bid for Zaha

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to bid £45million and sign Wilfried Zaha from under the noses of Chelsea, according to The Sun.

Spurs still haven’t made a single senior signing in the summer transfer window as their rivals strengthen, but it could all be about to change.

With London rivals seeing a £30million plus Danny Drinkwater bid turned down, the Lilywhites are prepared to offer Crystal Palace £45million, along with a big sell-on clause.

Having previously quoted £70 million for thr Ivory Coast star, Spurs had given up on landing Zaha, but now it appears the sum could be reduced with the player tempted by the lure of a top six club.

Daniel Levy is also attempting to sign Jack Grealish with a £20million bid mooted and Aston Villa are prepared for an offer.

The report also suggests Spurs are willing to part with Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura this summer, with the latter being the subject of an enquiry from Real Betis.
