Harry Kane to return

Let’s not beat around the bush – we’ve missed Harry Kane. We haven’t looked half as dangerous going forward without him upfront and we need him back.

Great news then that Maurico Pochettino has confirmed Kane has a “50/50” chance of playing against Bayer Leverkusen but ruled him out of starting.

“He is 50-50. Maybe on Monday he can be in the group. We will assess him and see if he is available to be selected, but he will not be involved in the starting 11.”

Pochettino is likely to start Heung Min Son to lead the role on Wednesday’s crunch Champions League tie meaning Janssen and Kane will be on the bench.

Kane may get some minutes ahead of the North London Derby on Sunday. Again he is likely to start on the bench in that game.
