Loan Watch

Another player has been added to the “on loan” army for Spurs this week with Cameron Carter-Vickers joining Sheffield United on Friday and just one day later, Saturday 26th August, he was on the bench – but didnt get any minutes.

Josh Onomah played the full 90 minutes for Aston Villa on Friday night scoring a goal from range to secure a point for his team and putting in a very good midfield performance.

Onomah

The goal was Josh’s first of the season and he continues to draw praise from many Aston Villa fans with social media awash with praise after every game.

Connor

Connor Ogilvie also had an excellent game as the full back played the full 90 mins and contributed an excellent assist for Gillingham as they drew 3-3 Saturday.

The full back was being watched by a representative from Spurs with some speculating he could be recalled as emergency cover at left back given the issues with Danny Rose.

Walkes

By contrast it has not been a good week for Spurs on loan Anton Walkes who is plying his trade in the MLS for Atlanta.  The player was widely slammed by fans and pundits alike for a lackluster performance and for appearing to throw a strop when he was taken off – a justified substitution – with some ‘soccer’ press in the US scoring him a season low rating of 1.5 out of 10.
