Austrian international Kevin Wimmer has moved to Stoke City following completion of his medical earlier today for a fee believed to be in the region of £15m.
The defender, signed from German club FC Koln only made a handful of first team appearances but was and continues to be highly rated by manager Pochettino who wanted him to be the long term replacement for Jan Vertonghen; but the lack of game time meant Wimmer asked for a move and was granted.
Spurs have moved quickly to replace him with a deal for Argentinian starlet Juan Foyth believed to be near completion.
We here at Spurs News wish Kevin all the best.
