The Sun newspaper (famed for it’s ability at selling stories without an ounce of truth) believe Tottenham are demanding Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho as part of any deal for Kyle Walker.
Iheanacho is reportedly on his way to Leicester for £25m. However, there has been a delay in his move and The Sun believe this is due to Tottenham interest. Tottenham are demanding £50m for right back Kyle Walker. This is proving to be a sticking point in negotiations with City. There could be new breakthroughs shortly though should Spurs be interested in Iheanacho.
As far as rumours go, I don’t believe there is much in this. It’s unclear if Tottenham are looking for a striker, Pochettino seems fairly happy with Kane, Janssen and Son able to play in that role. With that said, Iheanacho is the type of player that Spurs should be after; fast, experienced in the league and young and he’d be willing to play second fiddle to Kane.
Could there be any truth in this?
