It’s likely you have seen reports linking Spurs midfielder/defender Eric Dier with Manchester United… If you haven’t, well, you’ve been living under a rock.
Fresh rumours today believe that Eric Dier is thought to want a move and has had his head turned by Mourinho and money. The same reports believe Tottenham would be willing to part with the England international for around £50m.
These rumours have been quashed by SkySports today whose sources believe Tottenham have had no bids for the player and have no intention of letting him leave at any price. Dier has a long term contract that he signed last season meaning Spurs are in no position to be forced to sell.
Pochettino has already come out and said he will only sanction player sales of those he is willing to let go. Dier is not one of those players.
