Mauricio Pochettino says he will speak to Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min over their penalty dispute.
Lamela appeared to rip the ball out of the hands of Son when Tottenham were awarded a penalty in the second half of their 2-0 win over Manchester City.
The Argentinian proceeded to take the spot kick but saw his effort saved by Claudio Bravo.
Regular penalty taker Harry Kane missed the game through injury.
Manager Pochettino claims that he does not want to let the incident overshadow the impressive performance, but insists he will discuss the dispute with both players.
“It happens in all teams,” he said. “Everyone can miss a penalty. We will analyse, but it is not a big issue.
“The collective performance was strong. It is too early to take this into the table yet. We are still creating out philosophy.”
City boss Pep Guardiola suffered defeat for the first time since taking over at the Etihad.
But Pochettino insists that the passion and intensity of his side’s performance is what saw them over the line.
“It was a great, great victory for us against this opposition. I am very happy,” he said.
“Sometimes when you have a plan, it is good, sometimes less so, but Manchester City are a great team.
“It is difficult to play against them. We need to follow this after the international match and we have more tough games after the international break.
“If you play like we did today with passion and aggression then you will always have a chance. It is always about mentality. That is what helps us run and play as we want to.”
