Following our win over Manchester City that makes us the only undefeated team in the Premier League, many pundits are already tipping Tottenham for the Premier League trophy.
BBC MOTD2 pundits Ian Wright and Jermaine Jenas were both impressed with Tottenham’s display and how they had “gone under the radar” so far this season. Ian Wright (ex-Arsenal striker and fan) was even forced to admit Tottenham could “challenge”.
Gary Lineker said it was a “a little early to feel smug” about him tipping Spurs for the title whist Stuart Pearce told SkySports that we are “strong contenders”.
Whilst this doesn’t mean anything really as we are only 7 games into the season, the fact pundits are praising and tipping us for the title can only be a good thing.
