Preview: Spurs Vs West Bromwich Albion

TEAM NEWS

Tottenham are set to recall a number of players rested for last weekend’s FA Cup victory, with Harry Kane available following the birth of his first child.

Erik Lamela remains sidelined by a hip problem.

West Brom defender Jonny Evans is absent with a calf injury, while Chris Brunt and Jonathan Leko are doubts.

Allan Nyom is awaiting permission to play from the Cameroon FA, having asked not to be included in his country’s Africa Cup of Nations squad.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino: “It will be a difficult game. If you saw the games West Brom played against Chelsea and Arsenal, they were very well organised.

“They will put us in a very difficult situation without space to play – it will be difficult to find space to create a lot of chances.”

West Brom head coach Tony Pulis: “When you play against a top team like Spurs, anything you get is a bonus.

“It’ll be a tough game for us. Dele Alli has got the world at his feet. It’s there for him. He’s a goalscorer. He’s a top player.”
