Rabiot linked with January Spurs move

There are big question marks over Adrien Rabiot’s future at Paris Saint-Germain with his contract set to expire at the end of the campaign.

Linked with Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool in recent months, it appears at present that the Frenchman won’t be extending his deal at the Parc des Princes, thus seeing the Ligue 1 leaders lose out on a lot of money in the process.

Given that Rabiot could move on for absolutely nothing come the summer, Le Parisien claim that the 23-year-old may now in fact be sold in January.

Sporting director Antero Henrique is believed to be working on things at present and targeting a ‘friend’ who PSG have good links with.

Spurs are mentioned in the report having recently brought Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura to north London from the French capital.

Rabiot would also help to strengthen the team’s midfield, especially with doubts over Mousa Dembele’s future at the club beyond the end of the season.

Juventus, who have been linked with a move for the French international for some time, have also been mentioned with regards to a January move.

As a host of Europe’s top clubs will no doubt try and sign Rabiot if he becomes available on a free come the summer, Spurs’ best chance of signing him may well come once the transfer window reopens if Mauricio Pochettino wants to lure him to the club.
