Tottenham Hotspur to break record vs Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to break the 10-year-old Premier League attendance record when they host Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday.

Sportsmail understands that ticket sales are fast closing in on the current record of 76,098 – set when Manchester United beat Blackburn 4-1 at Old Trafford in March 2007.
Of 158 sections at the 90,000-capacity national stadium, only five still have limited availability of tickets for the clash against struggling Bournemouth.

It is likely that they will still fall short of the club record attendance of 85,512, set at Wembley against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last season.

But it is expected to pass the high mark of this campaign, in which 73,587 watched the 2-1 league defeat by Chelsea in August. As such, Spurs are advising supporters to arrive early for the 3pm kick-off.
