Tottenham’s rush to get players on new contracts has come straight from Mauricio Pochettino.
The Spurs boss has been pushing for his players to get new deals, with Eric Dier, Harry Winks and Tom Carroll committing their futures last week.
Christian Eriksen has also agreed fresh terms with Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Kyle Walker are set to follow.
And the plan has come from Pochettino as he wants all of his squad happy off the pitch.
The Argentinian coach is wary of massive differences in wages between his key players and believes fresh deals will be good for harmony.
