Tottenham miss out on signing Foyth?

In something that won’t come as a shock to you; reports suggest we are set to miss out on signing Juan Foyth.

This is due to Spurs being unwilling to match the $10m fee upfront. Spurs instead are offering $7m with $3m in add-ons based on Foyth fulfilling his potential. Estudiantes are unhappy with this and the deal has stalled.

Worse still, reports from Argentinian press believe that PSG have swooped in for the young defender. The 19 year old has attracted interest from the French capital and they are willing to pay the $10m upfront.

Such a deal would be a blow to Spurs and would surely frustrate Mauricio Pochettino. The Spurs boss has already seen Pau Lopez’s permanent clause deal expire and with no sign of a new deal in place.

Time will tell if Poch will get his targets.
