Tottenham have and always will be linked with moves for every player under the sun (normally by The Sun…). Sometimes these rumours can be so strong you feel it’s only a matter of time before the player signs… *cough* Damiao.
One rumour that is gathering strength is a move for Brazilian left back Guilherme Arana. The Corinthians defender is reportedly wanted by Tottenham and Schalke. We were scheduled to hold talks with representatives of Arana today – this according to Italian football website TuttoMercatoWeb.
At 19 years old Arana may be one for the future with Danny Rose and Ben Davies currently fighting for his position. It remains to be seen if there is any truth in the rumour.
