As part of our ongoing commitment to all things Tottenham Hotspur for the 2018/19 season we are delighted to be adding Spurs ladies to our website and coverage.
What many will maybe not know is the club was not originally formed as Spurs Ladies team; originally in 1985 the club was formed as Broxbourne Ladies by Sue Sharples and Kay Lovelock later changing to become Tottenham Hotspur ladies for the 1991/92 season.
The club begand 1991/92 with just a senior team but added a reserves the following season. Now Spurs ladies are one of the biggest clubs in London running 11 teams with the first team.
The Club runs three senior sides and eight junior sides at Under-17s, Under-16s, Under-15s, Under-14s, Under-13s, Under-12s, Under-11s and Under-10s.
The team play in the FA Womens Championship, the second tier of Womens football in England and their campaign starts on the 9th September against city rivals London Bees.
